I like strong coffee with lots of cream though it usually keeps me up all night if I drink it. I love to get lost in antique shoppes hunting additions to my collection of vintage children's books. If it's out of print all the better. I love with all my heart and I think that is why I take great photos-- I see the heart in every relationship and want to capture it forever with my camera. I am hopelessly sentimental, nostalgic, and cherish the smallest keepsake from someone I care about. I prefer sandwiches and fresh bread to dessert any day. Spinach is my new favorite vegetable from omelettes to salads. I haven't the patience for scrapbooking and crafts but I could edit and create beautiful fine art digital images all.day.long! When cooking I never measure anything unless its absolutely necessary. Measuring cups? What measuring cups? (I was a HomeEc/FACS major--ironic!) My great grandmother grew up on a farm and was an amazing cook by adding whatever ingredients seemed right. I guess I want to be like her. So far I've only had a few hilarious results... note: I no longer will use velveeta or bake a cake in the microwave! Lesson learned long ago. I love to serve others and can never sit still unless I'm editing. I would rather be taking your picture, refilling your glass or serving you another helping than chatting round the table. I love the beach especially in the fall. I am notoriously clumsy and have captured some great photos of my clients smiling as I tumbled over a rock or uneven patch of ground. Too true! I like to rearrange the furniture in every room or even the whole house a few times a year. Change keeps life interesting! I do not like to shop! I will research what I need and find the simplest budget conscious way to find it, hopefully in the first store I go to. My favorite books as a child were Nancy Drew mysteries and I still have almost all of them. Favorite book on a rainy day: anything by Gladys Taber, James Herriott, or Albert Payson Terhune. Favorite movies: Christmas in Connecticut with Barbara Stanwyck, The Inn of the Sixth Happiness (the story of missionary Gladys Aylward) and the Long Long Trailer with Lucille Ball. I could watch I Love Lucy over and over...never gets old! I'm a big dog person and we have 2 large dogs--a collie and a collie shepherd golden mix. Favorite season: Autumn! I do not like to be hot and hibernate in the a/c during the summer with iced tea. I love all things British and grew up in the Princess Diana era. Dream destinations: Israel and touring lands of the Bible, Yorkshire, England and the Cotswolds and Prince Edward Island, Canada. I talk too much, take way too many pictures, enjoy all things Apple brand and am very happy with my Canon gear! I am a little hard of hearing and will likely ask you your name twice! Beth Moore and Stormie Omartian inspire me. I'd rather be with my husband and son than anyone in the world! We enjoy cozy fireside nights and reading together with popcorn, family game night and walks with the dogs. I adore my nieces and nephews and am blessed to have a large family by marriage and so many wonderful friends. Big Dream: After 12 years of secondary infertility, we want most to adopt a sibling group. Choosing me as your photographer will help us move one step closer to funding that dream!
